Nobody said being a flight attendant was going to easy, but that it will definitely be worth it. But actually being a flight attendant can be easy. if you are a master at detaching yourself and are good at finding ways to escape real life and running (flying) to the nearest island.

I have come to the conclusion that a big percent of flight attendants use the same type of escapism, lets be honest it is pretty easy to do for us. Most of us have failing relationships or are not even open to the idea of one. Our job takes us different places on a daily basis but we all crave to have some consistency at home (if possible). We liked our partners to be busy so that we do not feel bad when we cannot give them more time, and we also like the available that one day a week we can get off to see them.

Most of us are seen as untrustworthy, that we may have multiple options in different places. Or that we are just not into them as they are with us. And to be fair, that is always a possibility but it is not always the case.

Many of us are still looking for love, for a travel partner, or just someone to be there for us. When we want something we will make it happen, we will fly to you, plan with you and offer more time that we can honestly give, yet we still do.

So the next time you see a flight attendant, remember that she/he will go off to a lonely hotel room and have a warmed up dinner by themselves. Away from home and our loved ones. Remember, that when one of us opens up to you and is sacrificing time for you, that it is real and it comes from the heart. Remember that we are human and that we need love too.
